JOB TITLE: Quality Data Analyst
LOCATION: Gaydon, Warwickshire
SALARY: £17 p.h Ltd
DURATION: Temporary

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE:
To provide supporting database creation / maintenance and data analysis for both Quality and Supplier Project Management Engineers through the New Model Development phases into production ensuring quick visualisation of the status of each project and speedy resolution of concerns.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
To provide supporting database creation / maintenance and data analysis for both Quality and Supplier Project Management Engineers through the New Model Development phases ensuring quick visualisation on the status of each project and speedy resolution of concerns by the engineers.

In addition, data collection and production of reports through graphical representation and/or Powerpoint presentation work is also required.
The post holder will undertake other duties as may be required to achieve the company’s objectives, commensurate with the grading of the post.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Experience within the automotive business would be a benefit
- Experience in a similar role with reporting to management would be a benefit
- Administrative qualifications would be a benefit
- Engineering qualifications would be a benefit
- High degree of numeracy and knowledge of statistical techniques would be advantageous
- High level of PC skills is necessary to perform this role: use of all office software with emphasis on Excel, Word and Access is required.
- This should include the ability to create charts, run pivot tables and share data between Excel & Access and generate databases in both packages from scratch.
- No physical skills requirement as job is mainly plant based
- High level of self confidence and motivation
- Ability to work with minimum supervision
- Ability to deal with people at all levels within the organisation both inside and outside the company
- Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines when preparing and completing reports for management reviews (self time management)
- Ability to work closely with engineers/managers assisting through data analysis to solve problems with urgency
